As the end of the season draws near we have sad news to report. The snow machine that is used to pull the groomer is broken. It appears that the engine has burned out with the heavy use this year, and it's unlikely to be fixed before the snow is gone.
The Teton Lakes trails have been maintained over the years through the generous efforts of two private individuals. They have provided all the funds and countless man hours to provide this wonderful venue for the rest of us.
They do this because they love to ski. And they want to share the fun and fulfillment of strapping on a pair of skis with everyone else. I know none are more disappointed at this turn of events than they are.
In the meantime, with high daytime temps and cool nights there's still likely a few good ski days to be had crust cruising in the mornings. Please be respectful of the course and try to minimize any damage from punching through if you can.
Happy trails!
Trails are groomed and maintained by volunteers who love nordic skiing for members of our community to enjoy in partnership with the City of Rexburg. Please no walking, biking or dogs on any trails.

Teton Lakes Grooming Report
We might get a few more days out of the track but it is crust cruising at its best with one more warm day. All tracks were tuned with a "once over" this morning. - Randy
